We already know who won the election (Russia)

Inside of two months before the election, we stand at a similar place to where we were in 2016. All of the polls favor the democrat (in this case Joe Biden), but the difference this time is that on one believes them and all believe for a whole host of reasons that even if trends hold, Trump has a chance of winning again.

Despite the impending suspense of the results — and potentially a disputed election with echoes of 2000 that goes well beyond election night — we already know who will win: Russia.

Here’s what we know:

So frankly it doesn’t matter if Trump wins or Biden wins, Russia wins. They don’t want a united America where we reasonably disagree with each other in an otherwise moderate country, which has generally been our history post Civil War. They want no holds barred partisanship with warring factions. If Biden is president, he will have his hands full battling conspiracy theorists, the Trumps (who will not go quietly) and a boisterous Republican party still loyal to Trump. And if Trump wins, it’s hard to think of how things don’t get better for Russia and their interests from the standpoint of US relations in a second term. Either way we are likely to have a bitterly divided country for many years to come and THAT, not any particular candidate or President is their true objective.
